Source-based reporting
Aurora Current aims to connect significant factual claims to identifiable, credible sources and, where possible, original documents. Our articles should distinguish what a source establishes from interpretation, context, and unanswered questions.
Verification and uncertainty
The editorial workflow includes checking the original source, assessing factual support, and reviewing whether source material and imagery may be used. Material that needs further facts or rights review is held for review rather than automatically approved for publication.
Use of automated tools
Automated systems may assist with story discovery and drafting. They do not replace editorial judgment. Publication is subject to human review and approval. Automation alone should not be treated as proof of accuracy or permission to reproduce source material.
Corrections and updates
We aim to correct substantive factual mistakes promptly and make important changes understandable to readers. Please see our Corrections page for the process.
